I'd like to get names of old (maybe 60s) stoves with burner start on
problems. The stove in a rental duplex had a burner that self started,
(my son's friends told me this) and caused a fire that killed my 18 year
old son a year ago. It was burned so badly they "say" they don't know the make. It was white and electric, 4 burners. I can't rest until I learn about the make/model of the stove. The owner's insurance people "evaluated" it.
She had someone drag it out of the kitchen in the middle of the night, after the fire. I have several pics of the charred remains. Who can help me?

I am sorry for your son. We too had faced similar situation five months back. Our burner automatically started and burned almost half of my house luckily all members are safe. We claimed our home owner insurance but company said this fire is due to our mistake, they won't pay for this loss. We then hired a legal agent from Public Adjuster South Florida to battle with insurance company on our behalf. Thanks to this professional who successfully completed our claiming process.
