It looks like the C variation is the exact same machine but adds switch for extra settings like extra rinse cycle. I'd like to "fool" my T variation into thinking it's a C and always have a second rinse. Seems like shorting a pin on the un-used plug on the timer for that non-existent selector switch would do the trick. What do you think?

I see no difference between these models other than one is sold as a GE model and the other is a "contract" version (that's the C) sold to other vendors for resale as their own model. The wiring diagram, timer chart and timer are the same for each model. There is no extra rinse function.
