The washer won't cycle to drain and spin. Water and clothes in tub. Have removed water and clothes, then check drain filter below to find sock or whatever in there. Removed sock or whatever a number of times, then washer works fine till next something in drain filter.
What is causing escape of sock ,,etc. to plug drain, thus stopping cycle??

Thanks for your help. Denny

What you are experiencing happens only occasionally, so don't know what to tell you to explain how to prevent what is happening. About all I can say is to check the opening that leads to the drain system.

Track the hose coming from the washer tub to the pump. There may be something in there that is causing the problem.
