I suspect that the 3-position thermal switch on my dryer is not working right. How do I test it with my electric meter to see if it is working correctly in all 3 positions? I have had some issues with the dryer running but no heat.

You most likely have bad coil kits that open up electrically and this and sometimes take time.Like the dryer works ok for one load than no heat or half a load than no heat.Whirlpool 279834 Dryer Gas Valve Coil Kit - AppliancePartsPros.com
