My Kenmore Front Loader doesn't spin anymore, we noticed clothes coming out wetter than normal then soak and wet. I watched the machine cycle through a load and noticed it never would spin. I removed back panel to look for damage and found the left shock absorber broken off. No other visual damage mechanical or electrical (no wires burnt or disconected). Replaced shock absorber and still same problem. Water fills and drains and door lock light is on as normal. Belt on motor is fine. Can hear the clicking of the switches on Final Spin cycle when it should be spinning clockwise and then counter clockwise just not movement after the clicks and the cycle quickly moves to the end of wash cycle where normally it takes 10 min or so. Not sure what else to check? Thanks for any advice.

Can you tell us if the washer is spinning after the wash cycle? It sounds like it is only spinning after the rinse cycle for the final spin.
Your broken shock may have caused another part to fail, but before speculating on that please tell us exactly how the machine behaves from beginning to end and we can be a little more accurate in the diagnoses.
Thanks

Machine was not spinning at all during any cycle. Found the problem to be the motor control board. First tried the door lock, replaced and still same problem, put in old one and new control board and she kicked started back up. Expensive repair though at $199 had to purchase locally as time was of the essence, family running out of clean clothes! Thx for the reply and I hope this thread helps somebody with similiar problem.

Well, glad you got it fixed. I thought that's where you might be headed but since we are not present I always want to have as much info as possible before recommending an expensive repair.
Thanks for updating us, and good luck with your machine.
