Our Microwave died a while back. Just faded away after having used the convection mode as a stand in for our dead range. I've had it apart and cleaned connections and checked lockout switches. It powered up and I tested it for a few seconds on convection mode. Worked fine. I unplugged it and put the case back on. I plugged it in again to test microwave mode prior to remounting it to the wall. It ran for a second or so and then lost all power.

I've checked fuses and TCO's. The Cavity and Magnetron TCO both test as closed (has continuity) but the Hood TCO tests as open (no continuity).

Is this open condition proper, or does it need to be replaced?

I see several people posting for help, but very few replies with guidance.

Is this a dead forum?
