I can't believe I was this foolish...I dropped a screw in the center hole while replacing the screen after cleaning the chopper. Did it fall into the pump? I cannot see the screw and have no idea how to get it out. What happens if I can't? Please help, I need my dishwasher again! Thanks in advance.

Hello, do you know if the screw is magnetic? If so maybe a mechanic's magnet would get it out. Stainless steel screws may not be magnetic though; if you have a second identical screw you can test this before poking around with the magnet.

Can you see it if you look with a mirror?
