We have a Gaggenau (Bosch) dishwasher that's giving an F code. The drain pump also seems to be stuck on. When the reset buttons are held down on restart, the display shows a '21', and when pressed again shows a '4'. I'm hoping we can simply replace a part or two and get the unit running again.

Separately, the unit also slowly fills with water when left empty and idle. This takes about 4-5 days before it's full enough to overflow. Is there a particular part that often causes this problem? A seal/gasket?

Thanks
Jeff

very often with these units the watervalve has failed ( slightly ) ... it is allowing water in the tank even though the d/w is not on... water has filled the tank and gotten down into the bottom environment where the styro float mechanism trips a micro switch ... need to disconnect power and remove the water from that basin area in the white plastic environment ( where float is as well as where the circ pump is too.. ) shut water off to d/w and replace inlet valve.. more than likely the inlet valve is your problem ( MIGHT be a leak with circ pump, but unlikely ... )
