I have a non-working igniter on one of our burners.
I want to remove the top to get a look at whether it is a wiring problem before I order parts.
I have removed all of the burners and the screws that attach the gas valves / jets to to cook top.
I understand there are clips that need to be released on the front left and right but if feels like there are just immovable brackets. Am I working in the right area? It occurred to me that this model might lift from the back.
A diagram or photo of the clip location would be huge if anyone has one handy.
Thanks for any help you can offer.

I found the answer myself and thought I'd post it.
This model does not have spring clips. Instead, it has two screws which bind the top to the front brackets. These screws are under the manifold panel (the cover for the knobs which turn on the burners). To remove the cover, open or remove the oven door. Under the bottom edge of the cover you will see two screws on each side. One of each pair will be directly attached to the cover (the other one is in a cutout). Remove both of those screws then remove the burner knobs and lift the manifold cover off from the bottom.
Once you have this off, you will see 1 screw on each side holding the stove top to the brackets. remove those screws, slide the top slightly toward you and lift.
