The timer will run through the cycle normal and then stops just before the off line and continues to run until the door is opened or manually turned to off. I replaced the timer assy. with a new timer part # AP3038427 and the same problem continues. The wiring diagram shows a run switch on the motor but I was sure the timer would fix the problem. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Does this problem occur in timed dry, auto dry or both cycles? Does timer advance normally in auto dry cycle?

timer does not move in auto dry. timer moves in timed dry but stops just before stop. I hooked it back up to LP and no heat. That must be the real problem, just not sure what to check for cont. or voltage. I did check what looks like overheat or flame sensors in the back and both had cont.

Checked the ignitor, schematic says 40 ohms. It tested out at 69 ohms. Should I figure that is the problem?

Not likely. Check continuity of the thermal fuse on the blower housing.
