Hi, I'm new here
I recently purchased a kenmore top freezer fridge(253.60419410). Upon plugging in, there was a pretty loud buzzing sound coming from the top. The noise is louder on the backside of the fridge, so whatever is there is causing the sound. However, there is a metal sheet blocking the way. It's loud enough that its annoying and I can hear it across my whole living room. I had an app to measure the dB in noise and it was basically 48dB coming from the fridge while standing next to it.
The compressor is fine, its much quieter in comparison to whatever is coming from the top.
I opened the evaporator fan case on the top freezer and I could see that the motor and the fan blades, which are all attached to the backcover, are making minimal noise.

Eventually, the noise goes away. I assume this happens when the freezer reaches the set temperature. Once the temperature comes up again, the noise pops up again.

So what is making all this noise? Is there someway to get rid of it?
