Door closed (door switch), timer turned on? Is there a drum lamp? Does it come on with door opened?

Can I jump the thermostat and see if that's my issue?

Did the lamp work before with door open? If so, probably either blew the thermal fuse or the door switch.

I can't remember if the bulb worked or not, honestly.

Well, you need to check for power at the timer. Should have 120vac across timer terminals L and N with door closed.

No current between L and N with door closed.

Well, were checking voltage, not current. Unplug dryer and check resistance between power cord hot blade (the one that goes into the small slot in the receptacle) and timer L terminal. Should read zero ohms with door closed. If it reads open, check door switch. If it checks good, check thermal fuse. Fuse should be located on heat burner housing. Hot side of power plug should go directly to one side of this fuse.

I was checking voltage, correct. I've never checked ohms before, I just have a little cheapo meter. But it has an ohm setting, so I'll give it a shot. I really appreciate all your help on this.
