Hello,

I have an older GE side by side fridge that was here when we moved in. There has never been an ice maker so we finally decided to replace it and ordered part no. wr30x10093 as recommended. The problem is that when installed, the bottom of the mold heater touches the wire harness. It seems that this is the problem the old owners had as we found the old ice maker , maybe not the original, in the garage with a melted wire harness. How can we fix this? thanks
