Set the timer to mid scale timed dry.
Use the most sensitive meter scale.

Measure from L to 5 (purple) on the meter it should drop to 0 ohms when start is pressed.

That tested ok, now where do I look?

That the light does not work makes me think the problem is with the thermal fuse or door switch so start at the other end of the motor circuit to find the problem.

Again use the most sensitive meter scale.
Attach one meter lead to the Neutral prong on the line cord and leave it there.
Now work your way back through the motor circuit.
Neutral (white) at the terminal strip should be 0 ohms.
Both sides of the thermal fuse (on the blower) should be 0 ohms.
C and NO at the door switch should be o ohms (switch closed)
Keep the door switch closed.
1 (white) at the motor should be 0 ohms.
2 (purple) at the motor should be a couple ohms (motor windings).
5 at the timer should be a couple ohms.
With the start switch activated M and L at the timer shoulds be a coupe ohms.
Also L1 at the terminal strip and the prong on the line cord.

The above is the motor start circuit.
