My Whirlpool Duet front loader has been dripping water into the drum when the washer is not in use. I sometimes open the door to do a wash and the drum is filled with clean water. I see it dripping out of the spot that feeds the water to the drum during a wash. ( while not in use) It isnt always but most of the time. Can I fix this on my own or do I need a repair person

You can fix this on your own. Take off the top and replace the valve assembly, which is not closing completely. That should do it.
