My GE Profile dishwasher leaves water in the bottom.

I have:
1. Removed the arm, fine filter and checked the sump for debris.
2. Checked the discharge tube - not clogged and its has drained properly for years through the garage disposer connection.
2. Pulled the unit out and replaced the pump motor with a new one.

Not sure what to try next. Are there other parts to replace? When the dishwasher is suppose to drain I do hear noise from the drain pump like it is kicking in.

Thanks for any help! I appreciate it.

It could be the drain solenoid; if it's not working, the water won't be pumped out.

You cannot assume that just because it drained OK ito the diposer for a few years that it is still OK.

Disconnect the hose from the disposer.
Where it connects is a common place for clogs to occur.

To double check that it is not a house drain problem let the unit drain into a pail.
Securely hold the drain hose in the pail and also put a towel etc. over the top to be sure it does not splash all over.
