Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 1/26/2015(UTC) Posts: 2		The power/cancel button has failed on the front panel of my maytag MHWE300VW13 front load washer and it will not operate. Whirlpool, the parent company says replacement parts are unavailable because they "lost their supplier" , and I have no alternative but to buy a new washer. They are offering me a measly $90 on a replacement. Does anyone know of a fix for this button problem?

Rank: Advanced Member Groups: Senior Expert Joined: 3/29/2009(UTC) Posts: 11,699		Have not worked on that model recently so I am not sure which parts you need and certainly don't know why they are not available from Maytag This site (no I don't work for APP) seems to have all the parts Parts for Maytag MHWE300VW13: Control Panel Parts - AppliancePartsPros.com and I don't know which you need but you should be able to find it and get it fixed.

Whirlpool has told me the part is not available and, because my start button is malfunctioning, I need to buy a new washer. What a ridiculous situation!
