Trying to find a natural gas to LP conversion kit for my older Amana Gas Cooktop. Model #AKG30E.

Can't seem to find much info on this cooktop, thought it might use the same kit as other cooktops.

Any info would be appreciated!

Thanks,

Follow the instructions from the Installation manual.

The part numbers for the burner orifice spuds you can find here: Replacement parts for AMANA AKG30E | AppliancePartsPros.com

Thank you Gene! I've been searching for the replacement spuds, most are out of stock. I'm finding listings for the large burner LP Spuds but I've yet to find any listings for the Small burner LP Spud. would they be the same by chance?

Have you checked the parts list from the previous reply? You can talk to the Appliance Parts Pros team regarding the parts availability.

Yes indeed, I checked the parts list, Parts Pros is out of stock on the Large burner LP spuds and have no listing for the small burner LP spuds. I don't know the true age of my cooktop, but it's in great shape, it'd be a shame to dump it cause parts aren't available.

Thank you again.

After a few more researches I found that the orifice spud for the large burner is on back order, but it's still available. The orifice spud for the small burner has been discontinued by the manufacturer and is no longer available.

Looks like the glass top for this stove has been discontinued by the manufacturer. I would recommend to talk with the APP customer service to verify this information.

Here is the only Service manual I found for this pretty old model.

Gene, thanks-- I checked with APP and they could not help me...told me to go to aftermarket inventory people...do you think I could get a windshield repair guy out to fill in the glass cracks>???after all, the glass is still intact- just with cracks runing thru it...
Could you point me in the direction of aftermarket inventory companies???
thanks!
