This is my first time to this site. Happy to have found you.

We ran the self cleaning cycle on our Kitchenaid gas oven. When complete realized the oven on the bake setting was not pre-heating. The broiler burner does light. Pulled the metal panel over the bottom burner. Recognized that the igniter connections were melted. Replaced the igniter thinking it was a no brainer. The burner still does not light. Is there a fuse to the igniter that may have overheated during self cleaning and blew?

Thanks in advance for the help.
