My mom's whirlpool dryer takes too long to dry. We have replaced the heating element and it still takes two or three cycles to dry. what else could cause this?

The most common cause is a partially clogged vent system.
Also check/clean the blower wheel.
Check the lint filter sometimes they can get coated with fabric softener and need to be cleaned with soap and water.
Check to see if it does this in both timed dry and auto modes. |

Thanks for your response. However, I'm not sure how to check the blower wheel. We've replaced the vent hose and cleaned the duct of the dryer and going outside, replaced the screen filter and cleaned that as well as we could. Aside from cleaning the blower wheel, any other possibilities Thanks!
