I Have a Thermador Double Oven with convection on top. When we put the oven on convection the oven goes to preheat and either takes 15 minutes to start warming or doesnt warm at all. Same thing on bake. I recently (2 months ago) replaced the major board that costs like $300. All the elements have also been tested for continuity and are fine. Any thoughts? BTW, for what it's worth, I have had problems with this oven off and on and would never buy Themador again. Thanks for any input.

It sounds like an intermittent airswitch.

Look below the bottom oven door, through the vent and you should see two air switches. The one on the left is specific to the upper oven. If you turn the unit on and don't see the paddle push forward, the unit's not going to heat.

If it looks dirty or bound up, you can clean it, but be careful, because on of the wires attached to the switch carries 120vac at all times.
