Wife's dryer glow plugged fine..ignited fine then quit flame (motor and drum
still running). That cycle kept repeating. I pulled the leads off the thermal fuse and jumped together, bypassing the fuse. Burner ran ok for much longer moment then everything quit...no motor. Did I kill it..Please tell me
I didn't. Can't afford a lot. All help appreciated. Thank You!

Same author..was late, had fixed a bunch of stuff this day..thought I had
jumped Thermal Fuse, but actually jumped HI Limit Thermostat instead.
Looked at wiring diagram..noticed that door light was not coming on this morning. Accidentally touched the grey (neutral wire going to door lamp from the door switch) to the dryer chassis and the light came on.(created the neutral side of the door lamp circuit). This time jumped the THERMAL FUSE (Not the HI Limit Thermostat that I thought was the Thermal Fuse)
The fuse is in the neutral wire going to motor. At the motor it connects to
blue wire feeding door switch. Door switch was not getting juice to pass on
to the door lamp when the door is open..letting everyone see the light.
Closed door, set timer and pushed start. Yes Sir..success! Burner shut off appropriately after awhile. Then came back on like it is supposed to. Will get Thermal Fuse from Supply House. Before doing any of this cleaned lint out of the lint filter housing. Any Pro's who can correct this thread or add to
it PLEASE DO!!!
