You guys rock. Same error code. Found this forum via Google. I read all of your replies, so fumbled my way through taking the panels off and disconnecting the gasket around the drum. And there she was...white and orange wires, white one sheared in half. 45 minutes of mostly sweat work, and we're doing laundry again. God Bless the Internet!! lol :)

Same problem on samsung wf 206. tE error. orange and white wires both sheered off...no no apparent cause they appeared to be cut.....i think it happens from having a un level machine as wiring harness is attached to drum. respliced wires back together and put back together. did this by pulling whole sensor out as plug is siliconed together to prevent water into wires. this sensor pulls right out of rubber plug.this forum rocks and now machine works great again.

I, too, am having problems with the te sensor code on my Samsung washer. Looks like they may have tried to fix this error as all my wires are bundled. I can't see any breaks or rusty wires, but if someone could tell me where to look for the temperature sensor or what it looks like, I could look more carefully in that area. Also, they must have changed the wire colors because I have orange wires in a couple of places, but no yellow or white wires.
Any help would be appreciated.

I took the front off my washer not knowing where the sensor was myself. Well don't do that! Ha The sensor is in the rear of the machine and the orange and white wires were the problem for me too. Same issue the machine is seeping water slightly at some point and has caused corrosion on the wires, but the failure was because the white wire had broken loose at the connector just below the motor in the rear of the machine. The temp sensor has 2 blue wires coming from it and connects thru a 2 pin connector to the orange and white wire. Good luck!

REF. my machine was a VRT Samsung model WF350

My 4 year old front-load Samsung started this last week. I found the thermister, tested it for resistance change when exposed to temperature changes. Tested good, but replaced it anyway.

New thermister tested identically. Traced wiring harness and found lack of continuity in yellow wire going to PCB (motherboard) connector. Spliced in a jumper, verified continuity, and still have same error code! SO, ordered new PCB from Appliance Parts Pros. Just arrived and will install soon. More to come!

Good luck!

If you would need any advice, post the complete model number of the washer.
