The squeak isn't that bad yet, but I would like to correct the problem before it gets worse. I was able to adjust the drum to stop the squeak, but what could the problem be in the dryer? I plan to open up the dryer to clean it out and check for anything stuck in the support structure, but the problem could require repairmen parts. Thanks.

Not sure what you did here but it may help you find the cause of the squeak.

I cannot say as it could be any of the moving parts in the unit.

The most common problem with this unit is them re3ar support bearing.
Sometimes it just has to be cleaned and re-lubed with high temperature grease. Sometime the parts are worn and have to be replaced and then lubed.

I opened the dryer and it was full of lint. I plan to order the rear drum bearing kit, belt, and internal seals. My question is the applying of the high temperature grease. Where does the grease actually go with a few parts in the kit being plastic?

Grease goes into the bearing cup (item 12 in section 03).
