I have a GSH25JSXB refrigerator. Since it has been new the ice freezes in the back of the ice bin. Now after several years. The clumps of ice have broken free and broken the auger. I know how to replace the auger but how can I stop the ice from clumping.

I also have the problem with the ice wanting to crush and won't cube when I never changed it to cubed in the first place. I find if I remove the bucket. The place where the bar goes into called the stir up is frozen if I can free that so it will move up and down then maybe I can get it to switch back to cubes.

Someone suggested on another forum that I remove the bar and then it will always cube. That is a good enough solution. Another person had a problem with the crushing and clumping like I do and they replaced the logic board. But what is the logic board?
