Dishwasher panel light for normal wash continues to flash without the machine running. I pushed drain/cancel and it began to flash. Then lock control light flashing. Opened door, cut power and returned power and closed door and normal light came on but after a minute began to flash again. Machine will not run and the same lights either are flashing all at once or separately. If the control panel needs replacing I will have to find out where to get one, how to do it and how much will it cost. This isn't a newer machine but it has ran perfectly until now.

A model number may help others help you.

Sounds more like a control board problem than a control panel (keypad) problem.

Thank you for replying.
The model number is GU94JSCCQ2
How can I determine if it is a control board problem?

I cannot find any info on the given model number.
Tried here and the Whirlpool site.
Please check it.

Note that if this is a non-USA model info may not be available.

The usual way to check this type of problem is to check the control panel with a meter and then if it checks out replace the control board but you need the tech sheet for this.

It does sound like the control board so the above would just add a little weight to that diagnosis.
