A 3in1 is a hard start add on. If you look in the parts (section 01) you will not see it because it has been added to the unit. It has been added because in the past the compressor probably would not start reliably. It gives the compressor an electrical boost on start up. Unfortunately it is also hard on a compressor that was not designed for that boost. |

since I did not know what that a 3in1 is I did not know that my frig had one. Since I did not know that I had one, all that I got from that thread is that maybe i should use one, but it may just shorten the life of my comp.
