I have a Frigidaire free standing electric range (Model #: FEFL79JSA) that, just all of a sudden, the oven won't heat up...not in bake, speed bake or broil mode. Now, I can't fathom that BOTH heating elements just all of a sudden quit working. Also, the stove top itself works just fine. I have checked everything I possibly can. Since this model does NOT have a thermal fuse within the wiring system, I've come to the conclusion that my problem is associated within the control board.
Can someone verify this for me. I'm at a lose at this point. Thank you.

If the unit stays in preheat (never comes ready) and the wiring to the elements is good then I agree with you that it is the control board.
You will probably also need a new overlay for it. Looks like it is a peel and stick and they often get messed up trying to remove them. Try removing it before ordering a control board. Sometimes warming it up with a hair dryer helps. |

Thanks for your help. I'll try your "trick" for removing the overlay.
