Washer won't spin or agitate. The drive belt is fine.

I have been advised to replace the motor board.

How difficult is this to replace? Looks like several plugs.

Not difficult and here is a link to the service manual that will tellyou how to do it.

Also, check the door lock assembly, if the control unit thinks the door is not locked it will not operate the machine. The service manual will tell you how to do some testing on both the lock assembly and the speed control board.
