I got one load through and now, no heat! Have checked the heat sensor on blower housing and the fuse on the inside rear panel. Fuse showed 0, sensor about 3 ohms. Also checked 2 ceramic fuses (?) on top of the unit where the gas comes in; they show a couple of ohms each. What else can I check?

I would check for continuity the igniter, the safety thermostat (#33 on the diagram), the flame sensor (#79 on the diagram) and the temperature selector switch (as shown on the wiring diagram).

Post the results.

OK, #33 I'd already checked (thought it was a fuse). Should it read 0 or a couple of ohms? The flame sensor will require a very short PHillips screwdriver which I'll have to borrow.

The continuity test should show close to zero reading for a closed circuit.

You can find more information from the article on our forum - How To Check Continuity With Ohmmeter.
