I am having an issue with my refrigerator not cooling below 42/44 degrees. I took off the back cover to inspect my motherboard and found that there was a two pin cable that was not connected to the motherboard... I was hoping that someone had a photo or could tell me if there is supposed to be a cable connected to the motherboard at connector J-19? I don't want to just plug it in and possibly damage the motherboard.
Thank you in advance for any help.

If it was not plugged in before, don't plug it in. Remove freezer panel and describe frost pattern.

The freeze pattern is lightly frosted but heavier at the bottom of the coils. I have attached a couple photos for your professional take on it. I would like to tackle this problem on my own so any direction is appreciated. Thank you, Marc MadmanArctica attached the following image(s):

Your system is low on refrigerant, will probably get worse. If does not leak out fast, you might have a condenser leak. This assumes the frost pattern stays the same after a long period of time.

Out of curiosity, what is the indicator with the frost pattern that the system is low on Freon? Is the frost pattern too thick? Too thin? Thanks again for everything! Marc

Your evaporator must be totally frosted over. Also, make sure the compressor is not shutting down prematurely, thus causing the partial frost.

I put in a call to GE service, the technician came out and said the unit is definitely not low on Freon but that it is OLD!!! Heck, I'm old but still working...:) I have another symptom to add in hopes that someone can help - There is Lots of condensation on fridge side building up in the bottom and running out when door is open. **I ran Control Diagnostics - Passed all tests** Thank you advance for any help you can offer!
