replaced ice maker a few months back. great until a week ago-started making jack hammer noise when filling with water. water dispenser in front door works fine with no noise. Ice maker started making fewer cubes, so I cleaned out freezer side, unplugged and let it sit for 3 hours. checked outside water line-strong flow. replaced filter- door dispenser water works fine. no noise at all, but no ice (well, one cube)
It would be nice if I could get this fixed so my husband could have ice for the series game tuesday night.
Thanks.

Does anyone know what the issue is? I have been searching forums and think I need to replace the water inlet valve, but would like some advice before ordering the part. Again, the water dispenser in the door works great. It's the ice maker that is having issues. Please advise
