I replaced the valve water a month ago because of the same problem and now it is back. I'm wondering that maybe is not the value itself but something I touched when I was fixing it. Any clue on this?

I believe it got stuck with a grease and old soap. Normally the float should easy go up and down. Also check the switch under the float ( #490 on the same diagram ). If this switch is open the power does not go to the water valve. Good luck. Gene.
