Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 10/14/2014(UTC) Posts: 1		The washer will not function properly. If it does run, the spin cycle is very slow and the water will not drain. I did discover that if I push against the door the washer will then run as it should both spinning and draining water. Is there a way to determine if the problem is the physical latch on the door or the locking mechanism assembly? Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Rank: Advanced Member Groups: Senior Expert Joined: 3/29/2009(UTC) Posts: 11,699		Look inside the lower service panel and you will find some tech notes that will tell you how to test the door lock mechanism. It sounds like you may just have a bad connection somewhere, so check that first.
