I am trying to replace the control panel on my whirlpool double oven (upper convection) and I cannot for the life of me get the trim pieces off. I have removed the side screws and side trim pieces. I am now trying to remove the trim piece that holds the control panel in place (at the top of the oven). Any advice would be so appreciated!

I attached a picture of the front of it, if that helps.

In case anyone else searches and finds this thread. THE MANUALS ARE WRONG!! To get the trim off this model:

Remove the 4 screws from the long side trim pieces and carefully slide the pieces out at the bottom and then pull them gently down.
Remove the 4 screws that attach the oven to the cabinet or wall.
Slide the entire oven unit out a few inches.
Next to the top trim piece, you will see 2 screws on each side. Remove these next.
The upper trim piece will pull out and give you access to make any repairs that are needed.

Good luck!
