I replaced the defrost thermostat and things were working fine for a few days but I am still having the same problem. What do I do next?

Could you be abit more specific as to what is the exact problem? Freezer thaws and veggies freeze is generic...Does the bottom half of the freezer and bottom half of the fresh food section freeze things? Withe the freezer door open and the light switch pushed in, do you hear the fan in the freezer running

The upper part of the freezer was thawing and the bottom stayed frozen.
The lower crisper would freeze. I replaced the defrost thermostat a week ago and all seamed OK. This weekend I noticed the top of the freezer (Ice compartment) was thawing again. I leave the freezer door open for a few minutes and the fan will start blowing and all goes back to normal. The fan is on when I open the door and hold the light switch off.

Hi, I have just noticed the exact same problem has developed with my GE Fridge/ Freezer. Did you ever find out what the problem and solution was with your Fridge/ Freezer?

I ended up changing the main mother board. Has worked great ever since. The supplier of the board told me this was not an unusual problem with this GE Adora refrigerator .

Anyone have a problem with a GE Adora model # DFE28JSKKSS. The coil keeps freezing up on the refrigerator. The freezer works great but the frost from the coil goes clear up the back Wall and also comes inside and up the back wall. It freezes everything in the deli drawer and the fruit and veggie bins. Looking for some with the same problem and how they fixed it. Thank you for your time
