My ice won't freeze in the ice maker allowing it not to product ice. Freezer is cold and temp is -4. Ice Maker is filling. I replaced my ice maker. Verified the channel from the freezer to ice maker is free. Fan is working that blows the cold are up to the ice maker in the fridge. What tells the fan to turn on to keep the ice frozen? It was producing ice 2 months ago but started kept getting slow and than found partial ice cubes in the ice maker. Don't know what is next the computer board but has two listed?
Also checked the thermistor in the ice maker or in the f Freezer operates fine. What controls the fan in the freezer to turn on transferring the freezer (cold air) up the channel to the ice maker? Do you think it can be a weak fan this model has two on for the ice maker and one for the freezer. When the freezer reaches temp both shut off. Should the ice maker fan keep running to freeze the ice?
after test readings
Temp probe in icemaker compartment is
13.14 K Ohms. in ice
5.83 K Ohms. room temp
