Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 9/17/2014(UTC) Posts: 2		The fridge had a burned out defrost heater and the blue wire was also severed by the burn out. I replaced the heater and spliced a new wire in yesterday and it seems that the compressor has been running constantly ever since. How long should it run before it goes into the defrost cycle? Could I have a bad thermister too? It was cycling fine before I replaced the heater, it was just frozen over. The repair guy who looked at it said he thought the main board was fine. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks
