I have replaced the ice maker once already in my fridge and just replaced the optic sensor because it wasn't working. Now I'm not getting any water to fill the ice maker. Water in the door works fine. If I put water into the ice maker myself it will harvest the cubes. My husband thinks we need to replace the ice maker again but I think it's a water problem. The filter was replaced about 3 months ago. The water inlet just goes into the back so I can't remove it to see if it is frozen. Please help.

Update: I noticed that the fridge is making a banging nose when the ice maker tries to fill. I opened the freezer when it made the noise and saw a little bit of water trickle out of the black tube. Very little water. As long as I fill the tray, it freezes and harvests the cubes.

Hi,
Did you find a solution to this? I'm in the exact same boat. Thanks
