My newer he washer is leaving what may be oil or rust spots on clothes intermittently. It has been doing this for about 6 months on and off. We replaced the drive shaft assembly $120 or so around 2 months ago as that is the only part I could find that actually had something in it that could stain clothes. It was leaking a small trace of oil out the bottom that ended up on the bottom of the wash tub, but we never found any traces inside (just on clothes). So it is still staining clothes. We have city water, no rust in water and a good softner on the service. We run bleach with a hot tank every 6 months to clean out the fill thing that gets buildup due to the HE soap. I am ready to buy a new one which we don't have the money for unless someone has any ideas what is causing this. I have a picture I can email or maybe post. Thanks in advance!
