The proper model #: JBP24BY2WH - Apparently when I first contacted GE I gave them the serial number thinking is was the model and they did not correct me; from then I took it as the model number. Sorry to have wasted anyone's time.

I would check that all the connection are good before replacing it. I am not sure that it is worth putting this many dollars into an older stove. If you order it from AppliancePartsPros you should be able to return it if it does not solve your problem. Please see their return policy. I am off to the cabin later today and will not be back till next week so I will not be available.

Have ordered it online for a total of $124 including shipping. Will pop it in and see if it works. It should. After realizing I was using the serial number I was able to find a lot more info about it on the Net. Let's see what happens and enjoy your stay at the cabin. Thanks for your help. Much appreciated.
