I looked through the threads on the evap motor and did not see my specific issue. My apologies if I missed it and created a new thread unnecessarily.
I've replaced my evap motor. My frig does not have the thermorister gizom on the wiring harness of the evap fan.
Original went bad was not spinning. Second one started squealing after a few weeks, bearing was bad, and put third in under warranty exchange. Third one was quiet as a mouse. For a couple of weeks.
Then started making a lot of noise. But it is because it is spinning too fast. If I unplug frig for the first few hours it is quiet, speed seems about right. As time goes by it spins faster and faster until I'm afraid it will fly around the kitchen. And as far as I can tell the fan never stops. I don't recall if that is normal or not. It runs 24/7 now however.
I don't want to keep replacing fans. The result of my research is:
1. Could be the motor is bad again and needs to be replaced.
2. Could be any of the thermostat resistors are bad and need to be replaced.
3. Could be the main control board is bad and needs to be replaced.
I don't want to keep pouring money into parts. Obviously.
I can make a reasonable argument for any of those three being the source of the problem
Ideas?

Make sure the freezer coils are free of heavy frost, pull the 3 pin, gray, power connector off the motherboard and place a wire jumper between the mating pins as marked line and comp.
Plug fridg in, if you now get complete, light frost on the evaporator coils, replace the motherboard.

Thanks. Will do. Won't be today, might be this evening. The coils and frost, etc., all work normally by the way. Not icing up, defrost working correctly. I checked yesterday. Makes ice as it should, etc.
The coils behind that metal shield in the freezer have that light layer of frost as you describe.
But will jump those pins as you indicated and check again.
What is this testing however?

Still working so have not had chance to jump those pins and check coil. I work from home however and can check frig. The "Norm" setting for the temp is "5". I usually run it at 4 as don't need it colder than 4. Just for kicks I set the temp to 3. Fan immediately slowed down and quieted.
So what is that telling me?
Control panel on front sending wrong info? Back to thermostats?

Coils nice and cold throughout and where there is frost it is a nice even layer.

The motherboard controls the voltage to the motherboard, probably bad, sending max of 13 volts to the fan motor. Also, could be the freezer is too warm, check it's temperature.

Thanks. Freezer is fine. Ice is good, nothing melting, etc. Will budget for a new main board.

Replaced control board this afternoon. Not too hard. Quiet ever since. While at it I replaced the ice chute gizmo. It was cracked.
All cleaned up, looks and works great.
Thanks for the help and troubleshooting advice.

Fan making noise again. Not running as fast. Runs all the time still. Now that it not running super fast there is a high pitch squeal my wife can hear.
All I have left to change are the thermistors gizmos.
I'm going to try and swap the fan under warranty again.
This is a bit frustrating.
In every way though the freezer and frig are working fine.
