I'm simply looking for information on how to remove the lower panel. Looks like it should simply pop loose at the top and swing down but apparently more to it than meets the eye. Would appreciate any pointers on opening this panel. Sounds like something is wrapped up in the motor, need to have a look see inside. Thank you in advance for any help.

Should be two clips in the groove between lower toe panel and door panel. Insert flatblade screwdriver or putty knife in where the clips are to release them, then tilt panel outward and lift from cabinet.

Thank you @fairbank56, that was what I needed. Had to fight those clips more than expected but at least I know where to start. Sincerely appreciated
