my whirlpool ice maker auger continues to rotate and does not allow water to enter this cycle continues constantly i checked water tube no problem i ran a elect. check with the wire jump on the ice maker and it does initiate the water flow but auger continues to cycle through any help would be appreceated

A model number may help others help you. Find your model number - AppliancePartsPros.comI am not sure what part you are calling the auger. Is it the auger in the ice bin that pushes ice out the door? Is it the ejector/fingers that push the ice cubes out of the ice maker tray? Sounds like there is a probelm in the ice maker itself. Usually the easiest fix is to replace the ice maker. They can be a pain to fix. |
