My fridge and freezer will not get cold enough to maintain safe levels, although it is cold. I had a tech come out and he replaced the Freezer Thermostat. No change.
So, after looking at it, I comfirmed the fans work correctly. The compressor doesn't always run.
However, if I unplug the starter and relay and plug them back in. Plug the fridge back in, the compressor fires right up. However it won't restart if I unplug the fridge or the fridge/freezer kicks the compressor off.
Thoughts on which part this could be, starter or the other relay??? that plugs into the starter?
Thanks Mike

Turn the fridg control to the lowest temperature setting and measure the freezer temperature after a period of time.
