hi- my gas sryerr is not heating up- duct is crystal clear - gas line is on...can you tell me what to check/fix next- thanks

hi i have a maytag gas dryer model num. mdg9316aww that will not give off hot air..the duct is crystal clear & the gas is on the on position. can you please tell me what to do? thanks, carol
