My water and ice dispenser are sticking for a couple of seconds after the cup is removed. I have checked the micro switch with an ohm meter and it is working as expected. Just to confirm it isn't the switch I pulled the connector from the control board and shorted pins 3 and 4 and got the same result, the water continued to dispense for an additional 2 seconds. Tried the same experiment with the ice and got the same result. I also checked the voltage output to the ice flapper door solenoid and saw that it is being activated for the additional 2 seconds after the switch is open. I'm pretty sure at this point that the control board is bad, but wanted to see if anyone had any other advice before I order a replacement.

I ordered and installed a new control board and still have the same problem. Any ideas? Could this be caused by the water inlet valve?

Any response would be appreciated. Thanks.
