de frosted frezer. after 3 days it dose it again replaced heater and defrost limiter sensor on coils still no luck,could the main board be bad? Do you have any schematics for testing board voltages and other related problems for this :confused: thanks.

Remove the gray three pin power connector from the motherboard and place a wire jumper between the connector mating pins marked line and def. on the board. Plug in fridg. If it now defrosts, replace the board

great the heater came on like you said. I will buy the board, should I buy the other two white sensors that are in the freezer just to be shure there not bad two?

No, the evaporator thermistor will cause partial frost, not total.

replaced board, replaced metal temp defrost sensor. replaced heater. what else could it be? I did not replace temp sensor wr55x10025, I have 2 of them in my freezer, one on bottom shelf and one behind back panel. witch one could it be, not working?. what should be the ohms on the sensors be when cold? need to test both of them. what one controls the heater? I only orderd 1 temp sensor thanks robert:(

If the evaporator thermistor, clipped to the top of the evaporator, is real high in value, it may not defrost. At -10 degrees, thermistor is at 65 kohm, at room temperature, 6.5 kohm. Measure at J1 connector, pins 5 and 4

dis connected j1 and pin 4&5 measure 5.3 k ohm on j1 connector and at -8 in freezer

Thermistor value should be near 65 kohm at-10
