Please help :( I bought a house in Oct & it came w/washer/dryer so not exactly sure how old they are but looked brand new...maybe used a few times. They have worked perfectly since then up until 3 weeks ago. It heats, dries & we take the clothes out and then next use it wont turn on and the light is out. We unplug it and plug it back in & it works again....this has been the case for 3 weeks until today it happened again and the unplug & plug back in trick did not work! ERRGGG I am a single Mom & cannot afford a repair man, have no idea how to fix it but if I know the part number pretty sure I can do it! Please help!!
The light is out on it, washer still works....etc....
Have unplugged, plugged back several times & left unplugged 30 mins to try again still no luck.
Thanks in advance,
Jennifer

also I just noticed. . .after the unplugging/ plugging back in trick works once again. . . that the back of the dryer near top gets so hot it could easily have burnt my hand when I was pushing it back against the wall. I took the vent hose off and it was clear although I am wondering if I may need to take the back off and vacuum it as there was a lot of lint behind the dryer and on the floor?
