Did some cleaning today, l found it very VERY HARD to reinstall the shelves, noted they would bow outward from each other and it looked like the back panel was bulging outward (toward the front door) I hit it a few times and could hear water sloshing around.

Like the whole back panel is full of water and causing problems.

Hope I got you the correct model #s

Has no one seen this before, the shelves toward the front are moving more and more apart, and it seems like the back panel is expanding/bulging, like a balloon. I feel I need to drill a hole about 1/2 way up the back panel to release the water and pressure.

The shelves are definitely moving apart at the front

Nothing comes up using the given model number.
Please check it.
Find your model number - AppliancePartsPros.com

If this is not a North American unit then info may not be available.

I have never seen this so will probably not be helpful but with a model number perhaps someone else will be.

One thing is that you will have to find out where the eater is coming from.

Some possibilities are:

1. A leak at an ice maker if you have one.

2. Water from automatic defrost is leaking into the back instead of out and down the drain tube to the drip pan under the unit.

3. There is a problem with the insulation. So warm moist air is getting to the outside of the plastic liner and condensing into water.

Thanks very much Denman

I'll may need to pull the back panel out, but I have the feeling it's sealed.

anyone else?

I just went to see how the panel comes off from the inside, not a clue. Buy I did push on the panel and I could hear ice breaking. ??
